The Cotton Mill was established in Port Elizabeth in 2009. The founding philosophy was to offer quality functional furniture manufactured to our clients needs by our skilled artisans. Having originally “cut our teeth” manufacturing only full grain leather couches in 2006, 3 years later we decided to move into all spheres of home interiors.

With a lot of trial and error, we stuck to original philosophy of only producing the best quality hand crafted furniture we could manufacture. This has enabled us to not only focus on great quality, but also on ensuring that are always evolving our product offering.

We have a unique take on contemporary and minimalist furniture and we draw our influences from the clean, raw beauty of nature. All of our products are underwritten by our commitment to quality , from the 15 year frame guarantee on our sofa’s to the use of only solid hardwoods on our furniture.

Each piece of furniture that comes out of our factory is made exclusively for you. Handcrafted with passion and only the best materials we can source from all over the globe. We offer a large selection of full-grain leathers, fabrics and solid woods that allow you to design your dream signature piece.

Our passion for design keeps us on the front line of current trends. As with life we are always evolving and drawing inspiration from trends around the world fused with our own local African flare.

Please take note all items are made to order and production is between 4-8 weeks depending on the items ordered.
